It's amazing to get 2 pairs at this price if they suit you. I mostly live in a hot and rocky environment for hiking. My problem is more dust than moisture, but it seems impossible to find breathable gaiters with a velcro closure at the front and an adjustable drawstring length for the lower stirrup. From a purely personal point of view, I would be very happy about a little more height (1 inch). more!) and adjusting the bodice with a lace, not an elastic. Why? Well, I guess my shins must be thinner than other people's because they aren't tight enough to prevent pants ripping or dirt getting in. The combination of another inch of height and cord would have made this construction more solid. My first hike broke a pretty thin line due to the rocky trail down here.
