Don't think this can replace your air fryer. It cannot do the same job as a dedicated fryer. Don't think this can replace your toaster. This appliance does not toast both sides evenly. Don't think it can replace your oven or roaster. And don't think it does the same job as an oven. If your apartment or dorm doesn't have a kitchen with appliances and you don't already have a toaster, this toaster might be for you. But don't expect it to replace what you already have. You will be very disappointed. It has a few advantages: it looks good, it's not big (considering it can hold a 12-inch pizza), and it's light. The light weight means it's not well insulated and the thin-walled stainless steel can be pressed in with finger pressure rather than a finger. I know this because the oven I received has a bulge and I've tried to seal it put it back in the right position. I was intrigued by the claim that this oven could AIR FRYING. So my curiosity got the better of me and I ordered this device. What a joke! The tray is not as big as the "basket" of an air fryer. And it can move and it is not easy to center it under the basket. And unlike a real deep fryer, these parts don't have a non-stick coating. A real deep fryer has a solid wall around the basket and a hard bottom. Deep fryers are dirty even with minimal oil use. . Nothing about this toaster can keep the mess under control - just an undersized tray. And the basket has to slide under the hook tab that keeps it in place and it's not possible to remove/insert the basket along with the tray as the basket has to be tipped and tilted to get it underneath. this tab. To say this is bad design is an understatement. And here's what caught my eye and still makes me shake my head: Ignore the pictures showing the location of the fry basket. You are wrong. The basket should be on the middle or bottom shelf. The photos (even in the booklet that comes with the kit) show the frying basket in a position that should only be used for frying. (He says it's printed right on the inside of the unit.) To be clear, this air fryer lets you cook a thin, single layer of french fries or potato wedges, or even a small whole potato, for one or two people. without making too much mess. You don't want to fry chicken wings or pork ribs. You don't want to fry anything with a sauce or coating because you'll find that cleaning it up would be impractical. And anyway, air frying - with this device, sssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhn should be done on the middle shelf, as the instructions say. I found my bread was just toasted on top. I had to turn over to fry the bottom. (Total failure!) I'm not going to try to make a pizza with this thing. Only roast on the highest position, but you must leave at least 1 1/2 inches between the food and the heating element. This is difficult because there isn't much room to work over the top rack and it takes ten minutes to preheat. I personally think this is a ridiculous and useless device. You will be happier than if you bought this. You will be amazed at how many things you can cook/fry/bake in an air fryer. If you are short on space, choose a small model. If you don't have a proper stove, buy a desktop model, but don't buy this one.
