Review on Enhance Your Commercial Lighting with Holiday Lighting Outlet Replacement Solutions by Katie Jefferson

Great bulbs that really last a long time.

I really like these bulbs. I bought them to use as Christmas garlands. I switched to LED a few years ago thinking LED filament would use less power and last a lot longer. I made a mistake on the second point. I made a beginner's mistake and bought mini lamps with crappy sockets that often rust or just break. Most if not all filaments will fail if there is a problem with the outlet, despite the misleading claim that the filament stays on if a bulb burns out. They never mention what happens when a socket goes down - half the thread fails. If you want to fix it, you will spend a lot of time looking for a faulty socket. So this year I bought some used C7 and C9 cables with E12 and E17 sockets respectively. As a side note, don't buy C7 and C9 filament from an LED shop - neither of them have E12 or E17 connectors - they were all mini-sockets with plastic covers. In the shop you need to buy C7/C9 filament if you want good frames. Another option is to buy cables with E12/E17 sockets without bulbs online. I bought my threads from Craigslist. Anyway, I bought these spare bulbs to try out some of my E12 filament. I think they look great. I now have Christmas lamp stands that: use a lot less power the bulbs aren't glass so don't break as easily as their C7 bulb counterparts the sockets are strong so I don't expect many failures if any. An LED bulb should last for many years - if a bulb or socket fails, the filament actually works, eliminating the need to waste time looking for a faulty socket or bulb. It's obvious where the point of failure lies. Looks great The only downside is the cost. These bulbs are obviously more expensive than the crappy ones in the stores, but if you value your time (as I believe) and assume you're not fixing your tresses or buying new tresses every year, they will pay off. for yourself in 5-10 years. I guess it's no coincidence that local shops don't sell New Year's garlands in this configuration - if they did we wouldn't have to buy new ones every year! Update: I've been using these lamps for five years now and I'm very satisfied. If any lightbulbs went out, very few did. I will never go back to unsealed mini socket flashlights again.
