It's been a while since our kid had briefs, we usually wear boxers for winter, but it's too hot and they don't seem like a good option with his shorts. The fabric is thicker than the cheap stuff you get in the store (no specific brand), but not by much. They seem comfortable and fit my child quite well. I washed and dried; does not shrink. Now he wears pants size 6, size Small (6/7). Usually the shorts are too wide in the leg, but these fit well. He seems comfortable; probably get more.
