The left bracket is completely broken off. Two metal dots on the front of the frame, traditionally present because they are part of the hinge and are a sign of durability and quality. are fake. They are just points. The photo from the back shows that they are not even visible and there are no holes. Because the hinge is not supported by the frame at all. As a result, the rather thin and flimsy plastic supporting the hinge simply broke off. Such glasses at $5 or so would be priced accordingly. They are about four times inflated due to flimsy construction and fake hinge rivets. On the plus side, the styling is very nice, the finish is attractive, and the spring-release hinge system is a great idea, but not enough to withstand the slightest amount of torque a real riveted hinge would have.
