Review on 🚪 Large White PetSafe Electronic SmartDoor with Wall Tunnel Extension by Larry Cole

Overpriced and a waste of time. I bought it for a walk-through wall where it took me 7-3/4" to 8" to get through a wall with 2x6 (5-1/2") studs, interior drywall (1/2'), exterior plaster ( 1" and 1" thick insulation foam. The original telescoping door tube was 1" shorter than the 2x6 wall design. PetSafe advertised as working on a 6" wall will not work on a wall that actually has insulation. I ended up building my own wall extension using 1/4" hardboard and a table saw. I cut a rectangle sized for the top, bottom, left, and right sides and glued it between the dog's inner and outer door frames. A much nicer, cleaner, and smoother solution that has no gaps or vents for insects (like scorpions) or the weather.
