Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Frigidaire FGGC3047QB Gallery 30-Inch Black Gas Cooktop by Shawn Torres

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This hob is a great upgrade!

We have replaced our 30" Whirlpool 4 burner gas cooktop with a Frigidaire Gallery 5 burner. I ordered from Revain, made by "Woot". None of the local sellers had it in stock. I was concerned that other reviewers broke the top of the grill. Ours arrived early and in perfect condition. And it was way cheaper than the offers on HD & BB. I chose black as it is easier to keep clean than stainless steel. We didn't want to renew our granite counters. The width was right and I had the joiner cut off about 3/4 inch at the back to match the depth of the hole. The stove is equipped with natural gas. I had my licensed heater guys come over to convert it to use propane. I can bring them back to lower the "low" settings as they are hotter than required for that setting. This is a beautiful hob. We like the large pressure cooker burner in the center. We've been using it for a few weeks and are happy so far. Although we needed professional help with the installation, we're happy with our choice. I'm glad I gave Woot a chance. That worked for us. This hob is a great upgrade when not remodeling the entire kitchen. Update: Today we lowered the flame settings: Here's how: Step 1: Ignite the burner and turn on the lowest setting. Now pull the surface burner knob straight out to access the burner controls. Step 2: Insert the end of a screwdriver into the surface handle hole on the stove. Continue down the hole until the screwdriver touches the burner screw. Step 3: Wiggle the screwdriver to ensure the blade is firmly seated in the screw slot. Step 4: Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise to increase the burner flame size, or turn the screwdriver clockwise to decrease the burner flame size. Step 5: Remove the screwdriver from the hole in the roller and reinsert the surface control knob into the roller to align the low setting. Turn off the pen. Step 6: Turn it on and check the setting. The flame should burn at the burner's lowest setting without turning off. Turn it off. Step 7: Repeat this process with each of the other burners as desired.
