Review on 💡 Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA Tactical Light – 350 Lumens, Dual Fuel, Black by Bill Schlag

This is a really good light if you buy a real Streamlight. 3 settings: Hi, Strobe and Low. It's bright enough to light up my roughly 100 foot yard with ease. Small enough that it barely protrudes from my clenched fist when holding it, enough to use as a bludgeoning weapon when needed. Great for EDC. The clip is key - allows you to attach the visor to the cap. Problem: I have now bought 5 of these. Two of them: accidentally they did not turn on when working, did not shine brightly and made a very small but high-pitched noise. They were fakes but by the time I had used them enough to find out many months had passed and I could not go back. My last purchase on 8/28/18 luckily the genuine streamlight arrived and works great - below is a list of things to check immediately and then return if present - see attached photos: Signs of fake streamlight: 1st ten programming touch works not --> fake2. Unscrew the end cap: if the o-ring is BLACK (instead of orange) ---> fake3. Remove the end cap, remove the battery - if there is NO SPRING on the front of the lamp where it should be in contact with the battery, ---> fake4. Mesh textured end cap instead of Streamlight "SL" logo ---> fake. See attached photos.
