I bought this desk to use in my living room for my laptop. We don't want the child to be in another room with a computer, but there isn't much room for a computer desk. I love how shallow it is, the absolute perfect depth to sit with a laptop. It's wide enough to comfortably fit a mouse pad, etc., and doesn't feel cramped in a small space. The finish is a beautiful semi-gloss black, easy to clean and has a durable feel. how hard it was.1. Open the box.2. Take the table out of the packaging.3. Lift the hinged cover and spread the attached leg/frame apart.4. Snap the small clips on the lid onto the side metal brackets. BAMM! DONE! When I say "snap on," nothing needs to be screwed or tightened, or requires a zero level of DIY skill. If you can close the closet, you can put this table together. Ultra light, easy to move, easy to store. Folds up very evenly. Worth every penny and seems to disappear in our small apartment. Very very happy with this table.
