I love this vacuum cleaner so much I bought two of them. But I HAD TO buy two because the battery is built into the vacuum and replacement filters are not currently available. However, of the lithium-ion battery-powered handheld vacuums currently available, I think this one is the best. Details: First, it is equipped with a 14V lithium-ion battery, which is more powerful than the more common 12V batteries used by most manufacturers. similar handheld computers. It's powerful enough to effortlessly remove even fine pet hair and penetrating dander/dust from furniture, carpets and curtains, but is designed to prevent damage to fabrics when using rotary brushes. I also like the longer than usual tool that the larger battery allows for - it has more suction power than most. However, the problem is that the vacuum cleaner does not have removable batteries with a separate charging station, because then you have to stop working and charge the whole vacuum cleaner when the battery is empty, which is done after about 20 minutes of use. It also means you have to buy a whole new vacuum cleaner when the battery dies, which will happen in about a year. Of course, the vacuum cleaner is not very expensive, so this is not a big problem. For environmentally conscious people, however, the need to dispose of an entire vacuum cleaner with a built-in lithium-ion battery every year is a much bigger problem than just finding a recycling center that accepts lithium-ion batteries. And that means you really should buy TWO vacuums so you can finish your job if the first battery needs charging while you're cleaning. And so it will be. Second, the filtering system on this handheld is better than others I've owned or researched. It has three layers of filtering to keep the dust it collects from getting into the air (i.e. your lungs when vacuuming) and into the engine. However, this advantage creates another problem: the accordion-shaped white micro-filter is so good that it clogs with dust, reducing the functionality and performance of the vacuum cleaner with EVERY use. In my experience, this means rinsing out both removable filters BEFORE the battery dies each time you use them. And this micro filter can't just be hand dried, it needs to air dry about 8-10 hours before it can be used. be used again. And with no replacement filters currently available, you MUST buy at least two vacuums to handle half an hour of cleaning. If I were designing this vacuum cleaner, I would give it a retractable battery that charges at a charging station and makes spare batteries and replacement filters easily and inexpensively available, allowing a person to own multiple batteries and multiple filters rather than having to buy multiple whole vacuums. I would also make it so that both the charging station and charger can be wall mounted as most people say they need this feature. This would make it more expensive but cheaper than buying TWO!
