This boot serves well as either a motorcycle boot or for casual wear. the side zipper allows easy on/off without having to overly loosen the laces. While I ordered a 1/2 size larger, these fit snug enough without crowding your foot at the toes which is especially helpful if your feet swell a bit from long rides or want to wear heavier socks. Seems well built. The faux leather can be treated to be more water resistant but seems decent as is. If in cold weather, I do not feel it will keep your feet warm but there is ample room for heavier socks and an aftermarket inner sole, but it is fairly comfortable in stock form.Only things I didn't like as much were 1) the laces seem kind of lightweight but you can buy after thicker market laces which should blend well with the shoe color and 2).yes, these can be noisy when walking. I don't know if they'll loosen up to the degree the noise would go away but if you are walking where there is little ambient noise, everyone with you will hear it. If that would drive you crazy, you may want to consider an alternative.Still, a solid 4/5 for overall quality and performance to price.
