One of the great things about the digital age is that the cost per megabyte of storage is going down all the time. This is where we can all benefit from this technological gift - the 1GB SanDisk Ultra II CF memory card is a really good product. I can use it in either my Nikon D100 camera or my Canon S50 compact camera and take hundreds of shots before downloading the card to my laptop. The card is very fast, so much so that in most cases the write speed is simply not noticeable. Time (if it's a bigger issue with my D100's slow RAW photo capture rate than the Ultra II). Owning an Ultra II really made digital photography a pleasure; I can usually shoot all day without worrying about changing CF cards or saving the card's contents to my laptop. This is digital photography as it should be. Reliable product that works very well.
