Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Lasko 20" High Velocity Quick Mount Fan - Floor to Wall Conversion, Black 2264QM by Roberta Berg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is big; It's noisy; It's powerful. Yes!

I have never paid so much for a fan but I would love to buy it again. The shape is stable; We had a square fan that kept tipping over and making a terrible rumble. There's a carry handle if you need to transport it from one room to another, but it's a large fan that, as the name suggests, is designed to sit on the floor and pretty much stay there. If you're looking for a small desk item that you can carry from room to room on a regular basis, then this isn't it. It's the workhorse you need on a terribly hot day with or without AC, as is often the case here in Seattle, where several homes have central AC and some have more window units that don't have AC. cool the whole house. It's kind of a fan where kids fight in front of it until a parent or grandparent walks in and barks at them all to get on their side. And such a fan is needed by a woman who hates the heat like a hard death when her husband moans that he is cold when she turns on the window unit. My god, it's 85 degrees in there! There is a sauna here and we can't use air conditioning? fuck you talk no ok It is excellent. I turn on the fan. No, I do NOT turn off the fan before bed! People comment on the noise level. It's a bit like turning on the fan above the stove. Will it disrupt your TV show? Quite possible. I don't watch much TV, but if I had to choose comfort or entertainment, I would choose comfort. Turn off the TV and turn on the fan. You can still talk to others as long as nobody mumbles. There are three fans in this house, not counting an oscillating fan on a skinny, unstable stand that was promptly broken by a local teenager. The other two that remain are a flimsy little thing that sits neatly on the table and another large floor fan similar to this one but made of white plastic (and apparently no longer for sale). If I had to choose just one of these to save, it would be this one. But I also have fairly large rooms in the house. If I were in a very small apartment I might reconsider. Check the dimensions in the specs before you buy if you're unsure whether a fan as large as this will fit in the space you want.
