I bought two of these, one for my work iPad and one for my personal iPad. I had no doubts that I would happily pick it up again for my personal iPad as it has withstood my rather harsh working environment. Though I never got it dirty or spilled anything on it (it survived a few tight turns in the car and fell off the dashboard a few times). The stand is great as it can work horizontally on either side. The suggested path gives you a right angle of 70 degrees, and because of the way it's built, you can rotate it 180 degrees and get more than 30 degrees. It's not waterproof, so you can't drop it in a body of water. , but if you spill liquid on the top of the screen while it's lying flat, or if you spill something nearby, you won't have to worry about the "what ifs" as it's mostly leakproof.
