We like these chairs better for camping than singles (although we carry both). These are really best for an RV or camper vs. going to a beach or backpacking, because they're very heavy (and expensive). But three of these around a campfire takes less space than six single chairs so you have more room to walk around. They're great for couples or a parent sitting with a child but you aren't so packed in that two "just friends" adults can't be comfortable too.
