I don't trust the regular AC adapter but it is compatible with HP Zbook with i7. The Best Buy Geek Squad told my wife's boss that it was her motherboard. I was just looking at the specs for a Best Buy Insignia PSU that someone bought/sold at Best Buy. You have confirmed that the power supply is working. However, like most, they were 19 volts, 4.74 amps, and 99 watts. and the bottom of the laptop says 19.5v, 10.3 amps, 200 watts! Big difference. Plugged in and turned on immediately.
