I received this product on September 25th, very late in the season when most of my favorite outdoor shooting scenarios were already in autumn mode, so I didn't have the appropriate shooting opportunities I would have. earlier this year. I shoot close-ups/macros in nature. I bought this unit because of the increased number of flashbulbs, the advertised detailing of the backlight controls, and most importantly, the advertised diffuser. I was impressed by the improvement in my shots in difficult macro conditions. Control increments make a big difference, especially when combined with built-in diffusion. So far, so good. I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I'm looking forward to some serious dyno testing this winter and next spring when I can actually test it in the field.
