Review on πŸŒ™ Maxxima MLN-50 5 LED Night Light with Dusk to Dawn Sensor: Plug-in Pack of 2 - Efficient Lighting Solution with 25 Lumens by Naomi Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Visual comparison of 3 Maxxima Night Lights. This is the clear winner.

I bought all 3 Maxxima LED night lights to use as night lights in the children's room. 2 main objectives: see in a dark room and see the child's face color without turning on the main light. For comparison: 1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030CDEEY/ Maxxima MLN-50 5 LED Night Light with Sensor (2-Pack) This version has such a terrible blue cast that it's not only useless for face toning , but also spoils night vision. Otherwise it is quite strong and effective, the light is emitted from above, illuminating walls and ceilings without catching the eye. Some of the light is also scattered on the sides. I would skip this for any use and opt for the "Warm White" versions instead. 2. Maxxima MLN-50 Night Light with 5 Warm White LEDs and Sensor (2-pack) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A3F1MZE/ This is the clear winner. "Warm White" is a bit yellowish, but still much better than "Normal": you can see the shades well. It is also very powerful and effective: the light projected from above illuminates the wall and ceiling without falling directly into the eyes. Some light is also diffused through the sides.3. Night light Maxxima MLN-50 5 LED warm white with frosted lens and sensor (2-pack) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A3F4LW0/ It says 'matt lens' but 'opaque lens' is more appropriate. Most of the light is trapped inside and lost, and only a small part is scattered outside. It doesn't really work for lighting a room, but I found it useful for spot lighting a kitchen table. Other reviewers complain of the intensity fading over time. And for $10, what can you expect?
