When I first opened the package I was concerned it was a bit meatier than I expected. I have an Apple case in the same style for a regular iPad and I've always liked it, but sometimes it feels too flimsy, causing used ones to pinch your fingers too much. As soon as I slipped my iPad Air into this new case, I immediately fell in love with the look and feel. Almost like a tablet, it looks more like a computer than just a tablet. But it's also still soft enough that it doesn't feel like I put it in an Otterbox, which is another plus. It folds in the same places as the iPad case, which is a plus, and this one stays in place a little better simply because it's a little heavier than the case. There are two places to keep a pencil. One indoors and not loading where my pencil usually stays. When it's time to charge, it attaches to the outside of the case with a magnet and charges very quickly. Another reason to have a non-rechargeable place to store your pencil is that when it's outside it gets hot and in the way. The case is 100% when switching to sleep mode. And that's a nice case. I almost never write reviews, but I rarely come across anything that fits the bill. This case is a good one in every respect.
