Build quality is actually quite good for the price. The downside is the length of the TRS connector: it's shorter than the standard connector, so the pins in the connectors don't align properly. Therefore, only the tip (send/left channel) has proper contact. Even comparing the TRS end to one of the TS ends will show you the difference in length. I bought two of these and they were both identical so it's not necessarily a quality control issue, just the wrong design. With a variety of cables, from Canare when it matters most to Hosa and Monoprice for lighter work, I had to trust my gut and choose a more reliable brand. I sent mine back for a refund.
