I spent hours looking for different speakers for my home office. I was looking for something with a small form factor (since I have a modest desk and not much free space), decent sound for ambient audio streaming while working - and good enough for gaming, flexible connectivity (Bluetooth and optical ideally), and finally was I not willing to spend more than $200. The KEiiD speakers arrived on time and well packaged. The first surprise was her weight! These small speakers have a very good weight. With little kids lounging around my desk, I don't have to worry about the speakers falling off. The solid aluminum body is also very good, it feels premium and complements my Macbook well. There is no cheap plastic here. I did not notice any defects in workmanship and workmanship. Very impressive for this price range. These have to be the most aesthetically pleasing little bookshelf speakers I've ever come across. Most of the others I've seen just look too flashy or cheap. On the back are optical and manual controls for volume, treble and bass. I wish the watch faces were a bit more premium and intuitive to use, but that's a minor nitpick. Setup via Bluetooth was very easy and I started streaming Apple Music within minutes. The remote control is definitely comfortable and has a good tactile feel. You must point the remote at the speakers and at close range for it to work. The sound quality is impressive. Again, the sound quality is more than adequate given the price and my primary use case. The sound is balanced, the soundstage is really there. As others have pointed out, you have good bass. I typically use speakers for gaming where I can just plug into the Switch using the headphone jack. I like that the speakers have a gaming mode, which I set by default. I would say that the sound is more than good from a gaming perspective. Explosions come alive, Zelda's orchestral soundtrack sounds great, you get the point. In summary, you could do MUCH worse than these speakers at this price point. Kudos to KEiiD for developing a high quality, beautiful, high performance product at a competitive price.
