The product is essentially as described. While the look is actually different than what is pictured (see customer pictures for some of them I've just uploaded) it's still largely similar to the original so I haven't lost a single point. Mine doesn't have a two-tone black and gray color scheme - just pure black. The Lewis N Clark logo is not metal/plastic as the product photo would suggest - my logo is an embroidered fabric logo. There is also a red and white RFID logo in the lower right corner. However, note that you may get the same version as me, so I'd suggest planning accordingly. Lead measures 4" x 5.75", approximately 0.5" thick with 1 standard US passport inside. Product description is included (as of Dec 2013). Build quality is consistent with a cheap product made in China. The Seams look like they might unravel over time and there are a few minor blemishes in the mesh material, but without being overly stingy/picky, I can't fault it for the price. I'm still confident it will will last as long as I use it. No. Having no definitive way to test it, I simply wrapped my iPhone in it while it was connected to my home phone. I only noticed a slight drop in call quality and a few Spots where the audio cut out for a few seconds. But in the end I couldn't get it to turn off the call. Now the RFID technology is much more prone to blocking as the signal can be strong enough must, in order to enter, activate the chip and then passively reflect it back (while cell phones actively transmit a stronger signal when reception strength is insufficient). Price $9.99. The question is, is it powerful enough to block passport scanners? Given that new generation ePassports have RFID-blocking covers (when fully closed), it's enough to slip your passport into just one pocket, where it will *most likely* be forced to close fully. Conversely, if you slip each page's cover into their respective sleeves so that the passport opens with the cover open, it leaves a nice 1/2 inch hole which is known to read through RFID signals, so I'd be very reluctant to trust that . I believe if they had a latch/clasp to keep it closed it would make it a bit more secure.
