Review on Reuzel Natural Finish Fiber Pomade: Effortlessly Nourish and Style Your Hair by Elaine Williams

I am 39 years old with the ever popular hipster hard part and faded with a thick beard. I have short, thin, coarse, slightly wavy hair that gets greasy instantly, so I mostly stick with mattifying clays and pastes like Dove Styling Paste (another great product). My barber applied it to my hair after cutting it and it caught my attention. It has a very unique scent (something like white chocolate, vanilla, mint, and a hint of something woody), but I loved how easy it was to restore my hair without getting greasy. The coverage isn't matte or shiny, it just keeps your hair well moisturized and healthy. So I found it at Revain for an amazing price ($9 for 4 ounces) and thought I'd try it at home. I'm so glad I did. As with any styling product, you need to find your sweet spot on how dry or wet your hair is, how much to apply, and how much to emulsify in your palms before applying, especially if you have thinning hair. Otherwise, you will end up with an uneven or greasy fixation. So, after a few days I found it a nice spot (almost a nail sized towel dried product worked until it got tacky between my palms/fingers) and my hair actually looks thicker and has a healthy shine that isn't greasy or sticky. . It's also the first product I can style my hair with and not have to restyle or wash my hair the next day. This might be too much information but I'm on my third day and my hair looks like I washed and styled it for the first time. It's quite amazing and tells me it works with my natural hair oils and doesn't add too much to them. The holder isn't rigid at all and it doesn't feel like there's any product in it - it just goes where I want it and stays. Very impressive!
