Review on Ford Racing M420988331 3 31 Pinion by Roman Palmer

I wanted to up the ante a bit on my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. This particular sprocket was not fitted to Panther vehicles, it was introduced for the Mustang after the Panthers were discontinued. Panthers mean the crowns of Lincoln, Mercury and Victoria. I couldn't find the 3.27 cog, but I found this one and just finished installing it. Is it an easy job? No, it's not really, but it's a lot of fun and a lot of fun. These gears required no modifications to the gear or carrier spacer. The clearance was 0.009 inch which is absolutely perfect and the gear tooth pattern is visible in the picture. I'm so happy I decided to buy a Ford ring and gear. !1000 mile update: the gears are perfect, the car feels a lot more powerful when it hits the freeway and drives easily around town. I drive to live so this literally changed my life!
