This is a heavyweight paper that adheres perfectly to the finger and under the free edge of the nail or existing nail extensions. I'm used to long XXL nails, so for me they're just long, maybe about 1 1/8" from the free edge of the nail. The decal sticks really well, maybe too well as it stays where you put it have attached.
