I bought two and these as I wanted to start making baby purees for when my little one starts solids. Most trays that I looked at were 2 oz and I didn't want a portion size so large. I would much prefer to have 1 oz pieces that are the perfect size for when he starts but can then be mixed together for when he starts eating more. I really like how they have an indication line for the 1 oz. Because of the shape, these are very easy reservoirs to fill compared to the small cube trays. The lids snap on tightly but not too tight to the point where I can't get them back off. Because of the lids, they stack easily in our pull out freezer. We simply fill them up with pureed carrots, zucchini, or squash (all we've tried so far), pop them in the freezer overnight and them pull them out the next morning. A quick run under some hot water (I'm talking a few seconds and that's it), and we easily pop the pods out and place in a freezer bag for long term storage. Then we throw them onto the top shelf of the dishwasher to clean and we are done. SUPER easy and the perfect portion size. I really like this company so we also bought the reusable pouches. We can't wait to use them when he gets older.
