Review on Ice Cleat Pro: Unbeatable Traction with Low-Profile Design by Willie Midkiff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

WINTER TRAIL WITH CONFIDENCE!

I've been wearing my LowPros for almost two months now and I'm a big fan of them. First, they are easy to put on and take off without tearing your nails. They provide excellent traction when walking on ice or ice covered with snow, even mud. And perhaps best of all, you don't have to take them off when running errands to enter malls or stores. They are not slippery at all on indoor floors, however I would not recommend walking on hardwood floors. After all, there are metal spikes in the soles. One downside is the price you pay when ordering from Canada. Actual price of $39.95 became $85 including duties, shipping and dollar exchange between US dollars and Canadian dollars. However, they allow me to walk safely on icy roads and sidewalks. Hence the five stars. And if I could whisper in the manufacturer's ear, I'd suggest they ditch the gray and orange under the soles and go all black. And maybe open a branch or shipping location in Canada to keep the price down. There is a lot of winter in Canada and they would be very popular here if the price was more reasonable.

Pros
  • Outsole with reduced flex for maximum abrasion resistance
Cons
  • Nothing here
