Review on Daylight Cotanic LED Bulb - Incandescent Equivalent, Non Dimmable by Beth Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

2700K or 3000K or 4000K or 5000K Which color to choose?

I've finally decided to replace all 8 old light bulbs in the dressing table. The old bulbs were 40w Sunbeam 370 lumens which had a very warm yellow white light. I wanted to try something whiter, but not by much. These Cotanic Globe bulbs have a light output of 500 lumens, which is slightly brighter. Now we decide on the color. I've tried several other LED bulbs, mainly BR30 and BR40, and I like the 3000K color best, but it's not available in Revain's Cotanic Globe style, only 2700K, 4000K or 5000K. I can't stand the 5000K color, it's so sharp and glossy white it's like being in a hospital. So I tried 4000K lamps first, but they were too white too. Then I tried 2700K bulbs, they were better because they contain some yellow, but I would really like 3000K bulbs. I returned the 2700K and 4000K bulbs and got a Sunco 3000K 450 lumen round bulb instead, I'm happy now.
