Review on Hamilton Beach 40864 Electric Tea Kettle, Cordless Water Boiler & Heater with LED Indicator, Built-In Mesh Filter, Auto-Shutoff & Boil-Dry Protection, 1.7L Clear Glass by Jason Vigil

I've only had a Hamilton Beach kettle for a few years and the safety shut off no longer works. I decided it was time for another one and chose this one. I immediately noticed that the fuse had blown. Inside was a piece of paper reminding you to fill out the MIN line for it to work. Filled several times well over the line, also almost to the top. Water is boiling like in Chernobyl, just before the explosion, but it is not turned off. I've let the whole kettle dry and it still won't turn off. I thought I had a bad one so I went back to Revane to do the same. The next day my new one does the same! The kettle is up to the line, half full, then full and has been boiling for an hour. They should be recalled, not sold. I'm switching brands so I'll never buy anything in Hamilton Beach again. It's just not safe.
