I plugged in the USB 3.0 cable, the cable got very hot (like the smoke of the cable gets hot). I tried the cable again in another device and it didn't work at all, so I thought logically: the cable is bad. Fast forward a month, I'm on vacation and need to charge my battery before I leave, so I charge the battery with a new cable and run out the door. A week later I come back to the fact that the USB cable melted on my table and everything around it is charred where the cable literally melted to the table (see photos). That is beautiful. That's convenient. It will literally burn your house down. Stay away from that extension cord. Ps in the last photo I have a handle pointing at an outlet that fried two wires and nearly started a fire. to the seller and they refunded my money. They also said that they would speak to their engineer which would hopefully lead to an improvement in the quality of the company's product. Your attention, I think, earns them at least one more star. I can't justify more given the black charred hole on my desk.
