First, let me say that if you use these weights indoors, they should suit your needs. However, if you need weights for outdoor curtains, I would suggest these weights are not enough. We bought Sunbrella outdoor curtains for the porch and patio. We live in Las Vegas where it can get pretty windy so we need weights. After sewing them onto a few test curtains they didn't really do anything to hold the curtains up and after being blown in the wind the weights started flying out of the white bags and turned into flying projectiles.
