I use my local weather report to compare devices and their accuracy. There are two that are calibrated similarly and two others that are only a few points apart. I don't need exactly that, but it would be nice. I'm deducting a star for a basic inaccuracy. I need these gradient account devices for my reptile enclosure and a few other devices, one for external to be able to see the reading from the outside and the area I work in the most. With the crazy weather we're having this year, it's cold one day, hot and stuffy the other, and it's not even August yet. Therefore, a better understanding of the terms is important. The units I am replacing have come a long way and are a big improvement and great value over buying a set of pet units. They are easy to read in good lighting conditions. The reading size is good, even for my eyes, which will need a better RX soon. 5 Stars.
