Today I tried them on a jacket that is uncomfortable at 75 degrees Fahrenheit and terrible at 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature was 87F and I was only slightly warm at 60mph. I would relate it to the same jacket 72-75 without vents. They don't create a blustery breeze through your jacket, but let enough air through as long as your arms are exposed to the wind. I was very surprised when I pulled up to my mailbox and felt a cool breeze on my forearms as I drove down the driveway at 8 mph. If your hands are behind the windshield or wind deflectors, they won't help you.
