Review on Handmade_World Vintage Backpack Messenger Rucksack by Nadia Torres

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, dreams come true

Many years ago, after a strenuous hike in the Peruvian valley, I made a mental inventory of my house full of travel bags and backpacks. None of them met the requirements, neither in appearance nor in functionality. I came up with the backpack of my dreams, sturdy leather, square shape, holds everything you need and looks really cool, especially on the trail or at the airport. Two must-haves are a side holster for my Glock or Police Special and a leather ammo belt. Finally, years later, it appeared on the internet. I bought the 19" version of this handmade "vintage" backpack and was excited for its arrival. When I opened the package, I already had several negative reviews about Revain. was heavily compressed, wrapped in plastic - even each metal buckle was individually wrapped. The skin was perfect, strong but not thick and hard. The leather was preservative-free according to one review, the straps were thick and durable, not too thin like another review said. The marketing says the bag is hand-sewn, but the sewing machine looks perfect. Vegetable tanned leather - requires no wax or special care. She will wear great. I stuffed the front and side pockets with open-reshape paper for a few days, stuffed the inner compartments with reshape books. The result is the manliest backpack I've ever owned—and the last I'll be one day . maybe a bit much for a mall. But now I look like a seasoned traveler and world explorer as I follow the trail or run to the Atlanta airport gate to get to the city of the monkey god. I only have one complaint - no holster or ammo rack. Probably a good thing. This bag has everything advertised and more. If it wasn't surprising I would wear it when I see Josh Gates, love it so much.
