I really wanted to love this monitor stand. It clearly has quality components, the metal is strong and doesn't bend, the bar is a good height. I use this with a medium sized monitor and what I affectionately call an old brick, like a work laptop. The clamp works very well even for an edge that has a small edge and little or no risk of just working free. No, my biggest issues are the post clamps for each of the levers. I've now bought a higher stand that allows you to alternate between standing and sitting. except that the arm adjustment is terrible and not particularly effective. They are difficult to work with one of the L shaped wrenches to adjust it so I have to hold it with my hand and it's never tight enough. I've fiddled with it for an hour trying to somehow get it where I want it, still not quite there, and the mere idea of adapting it to switch from sitting to standing makes that a very unlikely one Matter. I hate the clips on this thing. I wish I'd only bought the short version because I don't tune it regularly. that it switches from sitting to standing makes this a very unlikely proposition.
