Review on 🍞 FRESKO Stainless Steel Toaster - 2 Slice Wide Slot with Heating Rack, Reheat/ Defrost/ Cancel, 6 Bread Shade Settings Bagel Toaster, Removable Crumb Tray by Robert Cole

I really like the design of this two slice toaster from Fresko. This is a very simple and clean design that will look great in almost any kitchen. It has rubber feet on the bottom that keep it in place well and the device can be lifted by the front and rear arms. Heated shelf lever. I particularly like the pull-out warming tray. I've never seen it on a toaster and it's good for reheating buns and hot dog/hamburger buns. I put a small frozen slice of bread in it and used the defrost function. It seems to take a little longer to thaw the bread and then he toasted it perfectly. This is a really handy feature as I like to store bread in the freezer and keep a small amount for everyday use. Although this slice of bread was small, it popped completely out of the top of the toaster. When toasting some of the dense/heavy cinnamon raisin bagels, they toasted very well but did not lift off the top of the toaster. Toaster (the top of the bagels was about level with the top of the toaster). No problem, just lift the lever to take them off. I suspect if they made the spring strong enough to lift heavy bagels to the very top, lighter small pieces of bread could "walk" so that's probably a compromise. It doesn't bother me, but I'd like to mention it in case it's a problem for other buyers. The sides of the stainless steel toaster simply heat up during use. Only at the ends does it come close to heating up after prolonged use. They recommend not using metal polish on stainless steel so I use a bit of Windex and a soft cloth and it removes fingerprints well. As for the asking price when I ordered this one ($60), after using this toaster for a few days I think it's reasonable, but it's the upper limit of what I would pay for this product. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with this toaster and can only recommend it.
