I got a new collar for each of my dogs for Christmas. These collars have a soft lining which was important for my dogs as I have found that unlined collars often wear down the coat and leave a noticeable mark which I can't believe is comfortable for any dog. the type of collar we are going to use. A few years ago two of our dogs, when they were puppies, got tangled in their collars while playing and started choking each other in panic. It was a very scary incident and we were lucky that we took the collar off one of them and separated them safely. They were just playing like normal puppies biting each other and suddenly we were in a life and death situation. So since then only quick release for this family. My only complaint, which is not a complaint about the collar but more a suggestion from the manufacturer, is that I can't find a Blueberry collar that comes with a quick release buckle and is also reflective for nighttime safety.
