Holds everything in place. I bought his gel glue and Allenbelle gel nail polish set together and they go really well together. I found this gel to be very, very thick so I cured it for about 2 minutes to make sure it was fully set. And so it was. The gel was so strong it stayed together even after my nail broke trying to catch a 20lb turkey with the net it was wrapped in (wouldn't recommend this, broke my nail and cut me doing the little finger and damn bird still fell to the ground). After that, all my gems were still in place, but my nail tip was long gone. There is a slight learning curve if you have never used this type of product. I get the thickness right, but it's not hard to understand. This was the Amazon recommended product for me and it was perfect. Liked the tools it came with and the gel. Very happy with my purchase.
