bought a house with a lot of problems but mainly because of these two: a basement with 9 lamps all powered by traction and a light above the stairs that only had a switch at the bottom - which makes the light above the stairs somewhat meaningless. Hands down changed the rules of the game. The basement isn't a creepy serial killer anymore because it's well-lit, cozy, and I just have to yell at Alexa to turn it on. In fact, I can use my light on the stairs and not fall down like an idiot in the dark. The setup is a little annoying because that blinking will cause some irritation to someone, but it went pretty quickly. I've only had two basements once, and while I have no idea why, I haven't had any problems since. , or whatever, it's worth the investment.
