Much thinner than expected but good for putting on a bed. Definitely helps to keep the baby sleeping longer. The velcro is incredibly strong which is great for keeping the diaper secure, but my little one goes a little crazy when she wakes up and can't move her arms. Because of this, it's good to keep it a bit loose. Likewise, it's difficult to adjust the Velcro without waking the baby if you fasten it incorrectly due to the tight fit and the noise the Velcro makes. I would recommend making sure everything is undone before putting it on a child. And would definitely recommend it for kids who often wake up startled.
