Review on 🎧 Bowers & Wilkins PI3 - Blue: Wireless In-Ear Headphones by Troy Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work very well with my ears!

I downgraded Bowers and Wilkins P14 noise canceling headphones. Honestly, the noise canceling on the P14 didn't work for me. They're also bulkier and not as comfortable as the P13. My ears tell me that the sound on the P13 is about 25% better without the noise-cancellation on the big sister P14. The P13s sound more like an "audio file" than the over-ears Bose 700. They turned their attention to the Sony wf-1000xm3 headphones. I'd say the Sony's are pretty damn good and offer noise cancellation that's okay but not great. Also, Sony's headphones are completely wireless, which makes them look larger in the ear and can cause fatigue after an hour or more. Second dynamic driver for mid and low frequencies with separate amplifiers for full, powerful sound. Every ear is different, but for me they are perfectly comfortable. No compromises in the comfort category. I use them at the gym and unfortunately my ears pick up the sound of dumbbells and dumbbells. I had to adjust my gym music playlist to louder songs. You have to choose your battles when it comes to Bluetooth headsets. The noise cancellation is amazing, but it definitely has some level of audio degradation. In summary, I wouldn't trust the Bowers and Wilkins P13 on a plane or train. Ears are like fingerprints (no two are alike). People's tone choices will change. Coming from the Bose world, I truly believe the Bowers have achieved the finest detail with an additional soundstage unmatched by the competition. Unlike Vine's reviewers, I paid them $175 for a "pre-Black Friday" deal. I'll keep them to myself for a few years until Bluetooth technology and noise cancellation improve.
