This device has always been slow. That was bearable at first, but the straw broke the camel's back that lately it could take up to 5 minutes for the desktop to recognize a connected device. To their credit, WD/SanDisk replaced it without much trouble. The replacement - the old "new" device - is recognized faster by the desktop/laptop, but file explorer hangs when I try to copy files from the CFExpress card to my computer's drive. . Honestly, it doesn't make much sense. especially when I discovered it during a photo tour of Europe. I'm so glad I was able to upload files from camera to laptop overnight, slow. vvveeeeerrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy sssslllllllllllllllllloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwlllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
