Bought these for my Surly LHT 54 CM frame - 2" tires seem to leave a lot of clearance so you might want to increase them. I ride them about 10 miles a day and the extra air volume in them really helps on the bumpy San Francisco roads. Going straight are nice and smooth and there's a very subtle variability (it took me many miles to notice). Cornering, which I think is just the tire tread giving you a little extra traction around corners and corners. My rides are as bad as they get, with potholes, glass, train and trolley rails, and washboard roads that can kick the bike right out of your hands - these are great tires. Update 4/30/17: I've been riding them for a year and a half, about 10 miles a day, and finally got a broken glass in West Oakland. It was a pointy piece of glass and I think it took a few miles to get there. A tire blew, there was no immediate puncture - I made it to the house, he's fine and noticed the flat Sunday night. What's really impressive is that I had to use pliers to get this piece of glass out of the hoop, which wasn't easy! I wish Schwalbe car tires :)
