Bright light, easy to hang, no more broken glass!
I have replaced a number of patio lights with each bulb hanging down. I don't know how many times the old rope got hit by a random tennis ball someone threw at a dog, but I do know we blew at least 5 lightbulbs. I spent hours searching the grass for broken glass after a child cut his leg. These unbreakable lamps are lightweight, durable and produce pure white light. Still warm, but not yellow or orange. And since the bulb doesn't hang out, I think there's less wear and tear on the wire. A lot of the wires on the other string that I replaced have started to fray, so I'm excited to see how this design holds up.
