Bought this dress for a masquerade ball which was part of my family reunion. I got a lot of compliments on the dress and I really like how it suits my figure. I bought a tin to fit under the dress but I could have done without it because it still had a flared bottom, but the tin gave it a little spice. If you are thinking of buying this dress, buy it, it is a great purchase and will be a staple in my wardrobe collection. I am planning to buy a dress in a different color to wear to a formal event this fall because I really, really, really like the fit of this dress. I would tell you that the bodice is attached at the bust area, it is sewn together which I actually cut and that makes your bust perfect. The dress fits true to size, I ordered two to make sure it would fit me. The dress I wear is 2x. I'm 196 pounds 5/8 inches, usually wear a size 18 and 2x fits me perfectly. 1xl was tight for my hands so I chose 2xl.
