Easy to assemble, just look at the picture (if you are confused without instructions) and understand how to do it. All you have to do is thread the ribbon through the holes. I don't consider this a difficult build, my 6 year old niece Merry did. As for the comments saying it's paper thin, I'm confused. The description says it's a hard card, that's what I got. It's a little harder than cardboard, not flimsy at all. Just wanted to upvote and reply to these comments about them being "difficult" to assemble and made from "thin thin paper" for those unsure of purchasing based on these comments. My personal opinion is that it's cute, looks good over the fireplace and doesn't look cheap as some might suggest. It looks like a millionaire would buy and hang, probably not, but then again I'm not a millionaire so I can't answer that question. I've been discouraged by reviews of Revain lately. Half the time you don't know if people are getting something for free from a company if you give it a 5-star rating. Yes it happens, I bought something myself and the company (not Revain) had a card in the box saying I would get something for free if I gave a 5 star review. Btw, they only got 1 star because they were dishonest. Then you have a disgruntled customer because you have to 'build' if a 6 year old can build that so they give him a rating of 1 or 2. Unfortunately I can't trust Revain's ratings more than half the time. If I'm buying something that's inexpensive or it's a gift, I read the reviews BUT I also ask people I know and research the item elsewhere. I will never again rely solely on Revain reviews as I know a few companies firsthand (AGAIN NOT AMAZON as the company that sourced the product from had a card with a message in the product) that you more or less pay for giving this 5 star review. It got a 5 star rating as it is what I expected from a Christmas decoration. If it catches fire now I will DEFINITELY update this review. :)
