Review on Enhance Call Clarity and Comfort with Plantronics S12 Corded Telephone Headset System 64703-03 by Josh Maher

So I have mixed feelings about this Plantronics/Poly product. This system's adapter (the silver/black box that everything plugs into) has been invaluable to my ability to use the headset with my desk phone at home. It does everything I need it to - sounds great, is solid and well made, allows switching between handset and headset, easy to set up and use. . It's fragile and delicate, difficult to convert and tune, and doesn't sound very good. I might be a bit biased because I hate mono headphones. I ended up buying another Plantronics headset to use with the s12 adapter, the Plantronics EncorePro 720 Wired Noise Canceling USB Headset (it costs more than the S12, but it's worth it). You will also need this adapter: U10P Headset Adapter Cable U10-P quick disconnect cable to RJ9 plug adapter. While this setup might not make sense cost-wise, it's perfect for me.
