FOREST . I love it . Looks rustic old and great. I like the color and the awkward coloring. I love that it's mostly metal and looks solid (the back is plastic but looks great and fits great to take a AA zinc-carbon battery (not included. You add your own battery when you arrive) in the cover with little effort.) I love the face and how it looks like a glass cover. It stands firmly with a backwards tilt which takes some getting used to as I prefer a more upright stance, but it's so cute and a good size. The time is easy to read on the dial, except when the light reflects off the lid. There's no backlight or anything to make it readable in the dark at night. I already knew it from the description and bought it knowingly. Noticeable ticking noise. the distinct ticking of a clock audible several yards away. but not what I would call overly loud. . but it is not silent and not very silent. I wouldn't want it next to my bed or in a room where it's quiet. In general, I'm excited. It arrived in just a few hours and I excitedly added the recommended AA carbon zinc battery and started enjoying it. So far it's holding up great.
