This lotion does about the same thing as any moisturizing lotion with vitamins. It lightens the tattoo after the first application as the skin is moist and hydrated. However, like any other lotion, it regains its appearance once the skin dries out (just a little healthier since you've just added nutrients to the dry skin). I have not noticed any long-term changes in the tattoo's appearance. At the same time, it remains smooth and does not have an unpleasant aroma like other lotions. He's not fat either. I haven't used it for a long time, but these are my short-term (about a week of use) observations. Don't expect a magic tattoo color boost.
