Me and my 9 year old daughter are new to sewing. This book makes sewing easy to understand and teaches you the basics of straight sewing, reverse sewing and turning stitches. They even disassemble the parts of the sewing machine with simple words so the child understands what it is for. There are about 7 projects in the book for beginners (We really want to start). Definitely a must for both adults and children
